2011-2012 Hungarian NB1 Season Review

After a disappointing season in 2010-2011, Debrecen won its 6th title in eight seasons by going undefeated in 2011-2012. Debrecen was led by 30 year old French striker Adamo Coulibaly, who scored a league leading 20 goals but the team also included local prospects in Adam Bodi and Jozsef Varga, who are also now playing with the Hungarian National Team. Second in goals was 24 year old Nemanja Nikolic born in Serbia but looks like to be a key player for Hungary and may gather some interest from larger clubs across Europe.
